hello readers, today we'll take a break from the competitive meta game-play and step into another form of playstyle in da pokemon tcg : rogue
What is this 'rogue' u speak of?
rogue, or rogue decks are decks that are not made popular, which also means 'ulu' decks decks that are far different from the current meta.
Why should i play rogue when i can sweep the rest of the players with my 'top tier meta' deck?
1 ) Its boring sometimes when u go around tournaments and opponents all use the same few decks.
2 ) You'll never know one day your rogue deck's synergy might end up in the meta, and being the one who created that deck, you'll have this very accomplished feelin' . < i would, lol >
3 ) cheap... MOST OF THE TIME you WOULD spend lesser money creating a rogue then a meta
4 ) You'll get to play with your favourite pokemon < i create my rogue with my fav pokemon, haha>
HERE'S ONE EXAMPLE how i create my rogue
Favourite pokemon : KROKODILE

i don't know why i choose krokodile either, it's just awesome, the way it looks...
of cuz we know, for now there're currently 2 types of krokodile one from BLACK AND WHITE AND ONE FROM EMERGING POWERS
so.... which one will i pick?
both are good...... so.......
in the end i picked the TORMENTING krokodile from BLACK AND WHITE, the way i look at it, it seems more flexible then the KROKODILE from Emerging Powers... so yea... lets take a closer look at that krok
TORMENT
COST : CC
DAMAGE: 30
EFFECTS: Choose 1 of the Defending Pokémon's attacks. That Pokémon can't use that attack during your opponent's next turn.
Blocking one attack doesnt seem very effective/attractive at first, but thinking again, most pokemon on average has 2 ATTACKS, most of the time the FIRST ATTACK would be the one with lesser cost and dealing lesser damage and the SECOND ATTACK would be one with higher cost and thus, throwing more damage counters on the defending pokemon then the FIRST. Basically torment the BIGGER DAMAGE ONE and tank the smaller damage. So give this attack some points!
< NOTE : krokodile's stage 1 , krokorok ALSO have this similiar attack just with lesser cost of one COLOURLESS and 10 DAMAGE, which helps for early game tormenting ^.^ >
KROOKOROLL
COST : FFCC
DAMAGE: 60+
EFFECTS : If the Defending Pokémon already has any damage counters on it, this attack does 40 more damage.
With a base DAMAGE of 60, and an extra 40 IF the defending pokemon already has at least ONE DAMAGE counter on him/her/it/them. A total of 100 DAMAGE... for 4 cost its not bad... TECH a few DCE'S and it should be managable..
So after going through the attacks of krokodile, we can likely IMAGE how this krokodile works, TORMENT > KROOKOROLL
A total of 130 DAMAGE
Comparing reshiram, zekrom, kyurem, virizion, cobalion and terrankion's hp, 130 is the highest these legendary basics's hp can go, not counting evolite and metal energy for cobalion.
not bad eh?
but not bad is all i can say FOR NOW..
Tagging krokodile with?
After using TORMENT, the opposite defending pokemon would most likely EITHER RETREAT, either by dropping energy or using the TRAINER CARD SWITCH. Which spoils your torment > krookoroll combo.... how to prevent such happening...?
TRAINERLOCK
Vileplume~
both are good...... so.......

TRAINERLOCK
Vileplume~
With vileplume on the bench stopping the opponent from using SWITCH, or even preventing catchers < irritating catchers >, the defending pokemon is very likely to be stuck in front using the 'not so painful' attack <krokodile haz a decent stage 2 hp so dont worry > , or for some pokemon with only ONE ATTACK, staring at ur krokodile... And u can finish the opponent's pokemon off with a krokoroll.
Here's the skeleton of my krokodile/vileplume
