Art of unagi part-1(Magnazone-Eelektrik)

Hello readers, today deck analysis will be On  EEL varients which will be (magnazone with Eelektrik) and (Zekrom and Eelektrik).

Lets analyze (magnazone with Eelektrik) aka Mageel, Magnaeel, unagi with magnet??.

Basically this deck has internal draw engine thanks to magnazone prime Poke-power "Magnetic Draw". The deck is basically powered up by Eelektrik ability "Dynamotor" which let you attach a lightning energy from discard pile to one of your bench pokemon.

What makes this deck a tier 1 deck. basically

• Internal draw engine
• Hit for High Damage
• No damage cap

Most deck now run Evolites eg. decks like ZPST, Durant, 6 corners, Coke/cake(other food name). So basically the magic no. to hit is 150 which magnazone can do for lost burning 3 energy.

lets Break it down.

Zekrom + evolite =150 hp

Kyurem + evolite =150hp

Terrakion + evolite = 150hp

Coballion + evolite =140hp(without special metal)

 Best tynamo will be the 40hp as kyurem deck is on the rise and u want to get tynamo alive by a turn.

Mirror match up or ZPST

 

So the Meta in most place will have the same color card (yellow) most of them will be weakness to Fighting

Most players will use terrakion as the first attack which can do 90 with just 2 energy. OHKO magnazone.

But For me i prefer to use Stunfisk ad it have the synergy and 1 retreat cost compared to terrakion  which is super heavy. Stunfisk attack Thundershock which deal 50 damage and flips to paralyze. Resistence to lightning is always good.( magnazone u need to lost burn 3 to kill me huh).Starting with terrakion is a problem.

Covering Weakness 

U will never know when u will meet a donphan. Ice shard is the best to OHKO a donphan. Unless u want to stall with kyurem.

Zekrom VS Thundurus

How many should i play? In my opinion atleast 1 will do but if you want to add on to the early pressure go ahead and add one more card.Thundurus is the best start as it can charge and get energy out fast and discard using disaster bolt. If the area is fill with ants, Zekrom is the way to go. Zekrom is a hard hitter and help you manage energy and not sending all the energy into lost zone. Its up to the player choice.
