Deck Analysis:MewBox

So as we all know MewBox is really actually just Mew in a box. You know like jack in the box? Okay deck analysis done. Hehe obviously I was just kidding (okay I know that was cheap shot -,-“)
Here’s a brief summary of what this deck is all about:
  1.      It uses Mew Prime to ‘See Off’ Pokémon to make use of their attacks later on in the game
  2.      Since Mew Prime is a basic, it is easily spammable/swarmmable
  3.      Trainer Lock the opponent and put opponent in a tough spot while we aim in claiming our prizes
  4.    SNIPEZ

Let’s get to point number (1)
Some of the ‘Specific Pokémons’ that is usually ‘see off-ed’ includes the following:
Muk UD 
Purpose of Muk being here is to drag those high retreaters/bench sitters and at the same time poisoning and confusing the Pokémon.
Guess what? Muk’s ‘sludge drag’ energy requirement is the same as Mew’s see off energy cost ;)
This can act as a form of disruption. So what you should do when there is a high retreater/bench sitter Pokémon on the active? We will move on to the next card.


Crobat Prime UL 
With the low energy requirement (also the same as Mew Prime’s)
Mew Prime for 1 energy, can use ‘severe poison’ which is seriously severe. Taking 4 damage counters in between turns is really painful. Not forgetting it can bypass sleeping babies :D
For the same energy requirement, it can also use the attack ‘skill dive’ to skilfully dive to the opponent’s bench Pokémon to deal 30 damage!



Jumpluff HGSS 
Jumpluff is here so that Mew prime can abuse its attack ‘mass attack’ for a grass energy.
Depending on your MewBox, you can either choose to use rainbow energy or just a grass energy. Since Mew is spammable/swarmmable, expect your bench to be filled with Pokémon,
Mew can also make use of the attack ‘leaf guard’. Though its situational to prevent mew Prime from being OHKO. It can still be helpful depending on the situation :D


Next point is on the Trainer locking

Vileplume UD 
The existence of Vileplume in here is to prevent the opponent from using trainers (DUH!) but more specifically crucial trainers like switches or rare candies.
Why I would say ‘switch’ is a crucial card? Remember Muk’s ‘sludge drag’? Do the math XD.



Last point, SNIPEZ!
I’m sure you all know who I’m talking about hint (It’s a dragonfly)
Yanmega Prime 



Since Mew is fragile, we need a back up attacker and what’s better than a dragonfly that has free retreat and is able to snipe while the opponent is having trouble trying to retreat that heavy bench sitter? NOTHING (lol that’s a mouthful)








Energy wise. It depends on the user. More variety use rainbow energy. Anyway mew prime has low hp .
So all of ya’ll more or less know more about this Mewbox already. Deck list time?
